Your words don't fail

Drink slowly
Sweaty moves
Power shifting turns -
Souls drink slowly

Ruthless
Ruthless in determination
Making the present my home -
Green sunny golden

Wrapped in orange
Chasing mindfulness -

inspire
Writing poetry is like opening doors, exploring life's experiences fully, and discovering more about opposites and myself.
Still, I really never thought to write poems until just a few years ago.
Inspiration came from my friend Frank Polman, who penned poems while traversing Asia for work.
He has since passed on and left us some volumes of lines that pulsate with observation and wit, and quiver with passion and compassion.
I am also moved by Japan's composers of
haiku
, and by people around the world who continue to rouse readers with few words.
Without counting syllables, I walk and observe...
